Fainting Spells, Chapter 8 : Nightmare, page 9. I'm telling you, it's the perfect climbing tree!

I liked the feel of this page so much, I decided against coloring it. I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of drawing bodies. I should, after working on this thing for... what, a year and a half? I still find drawing clothes complicated, but for some reason this page came together easily. Mostly I just love drawing trees. Trees are so unique, with that funny texture of theirs, and the way they grow in all sorts of funny way... They have personality, none of them look like any other tree!

...And after that last statement I assume you're all giving me strange looks and slowly backing away. Oh well, I'm entitled to my crazy moments (-_-);

Anyway, the original for this page is for sale, for a change. It's pencil over textured paper, 73/4" x 11", and 50$. It looks pretty much exactly like this, I haven't had to tweak it in Photoshop at all, though the scanner did do a bit of a weird thing with the yellow there. The pencil is really just a regular grey, it's the paper that's more of a cream color - scanners never knows what to make of cream!

• Buy original artwork or prints of the pages (email me to see if a page is available)
• Request something! I do commission work now. Email me with details of what you want, and I'll let you know how much it is.
